Weeks 5-7 is a crucial time for the pups developing brain. The pups are the most curious during these weeks so we continue to introduce new sights and sounds. We get the dam away from the pups more and increase supplementing the pups. We start putting puppy food in the goats milk to wean the pups. The pups are outside more during the day and put inside at night. The pups have toys to play with and play tug a war with each other. Each pup is removed from the litter to play and work with alone. This week starts the time period to make a well balanced dog! By the end of week 6 the pups are weaned and eating soaked puppy food. Around week 7 or 8 the pups get their first round of shots and worming.
Week 8 to follow.
We only have 3 female Dutch Shepherd Puppies available now, so don't wait if you are looking for a great puppy!
